New Year celebrations are intense everywhere in the world, and no less so in Japan, where the brilliant colors, festival foods and traditional rituals are enjoyed by millions. Fritz Li emmersed himself in the revelry, and as usual, created vibrant images as you might expect from one with intimate knowledge of the culture.
